3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitcher Danny Duffy (elbow) is unlikely to pitch again in 2021, according to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. Manager Dave Roberts said that Duffy had started a bullpen session on Friday, but was unable to complete it as his elbow continued to bother him. Duffy has yet to make an appearance with Los Angeles since being acquired from Kansas City, as he is 4-3 with a 2.51 ERA, 1.213 WHIP and 25.8 percent strikeout rate over 61 innings with the Royals. It was already unlikely he would have much value over this final stretch of the season, but any managers that were stashing him on the IL can safely drop him now.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
