3 years agoToronto Blue Jays catcher Danny Jansen (hamstring) was activated from the injured list, and the team optioned catcher Riley Adams in a corresponding move on Saturday, MLB.com reported. Jansen went on the injured list in early June with a hamstring strain and was hitting just .157/.248/.278 with three home runs and eight RBI in 108 at-bats at the time of his injury. He should be ignored outside of two-catcher formats. Reese McGuire has been doing most of the backstop work with both Jansen and Alejandro Kirk on the sidelines in recent weeks.--Josh Friedman
