5 years agoHaving been benched in favor of fellow rookie Reese McGuire - who has hit two home runs with a .840 OPS since being called up on July 27 - Danny Jansen hit a three-run home run off of Yankee starter J.A. Happ in the sixth inning of an 8-2 victory at home on Friday night. In the middle of a disappointing rookie campaign, Jansen has been splitting time with McGuire since the latter was called up and will need to continue hitting to stay in the lineup to become fantasy relevant again, even though he was drafted as a top-10 catching option heading into the season.--Nicklaus Gaut - RotoBaller
