5 years agoToronto Blue Jays catcher Danny Jansen was 0-for-4 with four strikeouts during a 4-2 loss to the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday. The 24-year-old was a well-received fantasy pick heading into the season, but he has severely disappointed so far. Jansen is slashing a measly .170/.259/.252 with two home runs, 12 RBI, and a 25 percent strikeout rate. Even though the catcher position can be a barren wasteland, Jansen is becoming a droppable asset in the deepest leagues. Unless he turns it around soon, there is no point in holding onto him any longer.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
