Danny Salazar Expected To Be Out At Least A Month
7 years agoCleveland Indians right-hander Danny Salazar (shoulder) is unlikely to make a return to the mound for at least another four weeks and it could be closer to six, according to reports. Salazar will stay behind in Arizona for at least a month as he attempts to get his arm back into pitching shape. Salazar was placed on the 10-day disabled list due to rotator cuff inflammation in his pitching shoulder. The right-hander has been out since mid-February and will basically need to gear up to pitch in what will amount to his version of spring training in Arizona. Don't expect to see Salazar donning a big league uniform until May at the earliest.
