Danny Santana Activated From IL, Not In Lineup Sunday
4 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Danny Santana was placed back on the active roster ahead of Sunday’s contest against the Rockies after having been sidelined since July 28 due to a strained right forearm. Santana was not among the starting nine, although he presumably should be ready to return to the mix Monday against the Padres and right-hander Zach Davies. Off to a 1-for-17 start at the dish, Santana’s sample size remains small enough for owners to hit the proverbial reset button. After a breakout 2019 campaign that saw him deliver 57 extra-base hits and 21 stolen bases, Santana is a high-upside, high-risk season-long and DFS play at this stage.
