5 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Danny Santana went 3-for-5 with a grand slam and six RBI in a win at Oakland Thursday night. Santana has been unstoppable lately batting .453 with a .868 slugging percentage since July 7. Santana has 15 RBI in 13 games during this hot streak. Santana still strikes out too much at 27.9 percent and barely walks so that could hold him back a bit in points leagues, and his .406 BABIP suggests some regression is coming. Still, he's making 44.6 percent hard contact on the season and has multi-position eligibility so he should be more owned than he is in fantasy. He's a fantastic play tonight vs Daniel Mengden who is sporting a 5.70 xFIP and strikes out under 6.5 batters per nine innings.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
