5 years agoTexas Rangers infielder/outfielder Danny Santana made a pinch-hitting appearance in the ninth inning Wednesday against the Cleveland Indians and hit his second pinch-hit homer of the season. He also accomplished the feat May 19 against the St. Louis Cardinals. He is the first Rangers player with multiple pinch homers in a single season since David Dellucci turned the trick back in 2005. It was the fourth pinch-hit homer for the Rangers this season, most since 2012 when they also had four. Santana has surprised by slashing .308/.344/.509 with six homers and 20 RBI, making him a useful only in AL-only fantasy play.--Daniel Dobish
