Danny Santana Steals First Base Of The Season
4 years agoTexas Rangers utility man Danny Santana came into last night's game with a .242 on-base percentage and .172 slugging percentage but helped those ratios out with a productive night at the plate. Santana went 1-for-4 with a double, a walk, three runs batted in, and a stolen base, but did strike out three times. However, it's encouraging for his fantasy managers that Santana showed he can still swing the bat with power and steal some bases after a disappointing start to 2020. The versatile player has played in five games since his return from the IL and reached base in all five contests. Santana was a trendy bust pick this offseason, but still has half the season to turn it around and prove he wasn't a one-hit-wonder in 2019.
