6 years agoBaltimore Orioles third baseman Danny Valencia went 2-for-4 with two singles and an RBI in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Marlins. Valencia now has a .283/.350/.462 slash line with six home runs and 17 RBI in 163 plate appearances. While his numbers may not be exciting or flashy, Valencia has shown that he can contribute to fantasy teams on a day-to-day basis. At just 2% owned, he is worth a look in deeper corner infield leagues or as a temporary fill-in for fantasy teams who have recently dealt with injuries at third base in Evan Longoria or Matt Chapman.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
