4 years agoAtlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson continued his recent struggles at the plate on Saturday, going 0-for-4 with one RBI and three strikeouts in a 5-1 win over the Brewers. Swanson is now just 1-for-19 over his last five games with one home run, four RBI and nine strikeouts, as he's dropped his season line to .203/.272/.364. His Statcast metrics suggest that Swanson should be doing slightly better than what he's put up, but not by much as he owns a .238 xBA and .433 xSLG — both of which are his lowest marks since 2018. He'll look to try and get things going at the plate in the finale with Milwaukee on Sunday.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
