3 years agoAtlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson connected for his first home run of the season on Thursday as a part of his club's 5-1 victory over the Cubs. His solo shot in the third inning off Drew Smyly flew 432 feet as he also added a single to finish the night going 2-for-3 with a walk. Swanson has had a sluggish start to his 2022 campaign, hitting .209 with seven runs and seven RBI through 20 games, but he has picked it up lately going 7-for-18 over his last six contests. Unfortunately for fantasy owners, he remains hitting out of the ninth spot in the order, but his year-end numbers should still look admirable as a part of a formidable Braves lineup.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
