6 years agoAtlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson (hand) said his left hand is improving "slowly, but surely" and hopes to be ready if the team advances to the National League Championship Series. The Braves will feel Swanson's loss both on offense and defense against the Dodgers in the National League Division Series. In his absence, infielder Charlie Culberson is expected to take over the shortstop duties. Culberson hit .270/.326/.466 with 12 homers, 45 RBI and four steals in 296 at-bats for the Braves during the regular season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
