7 years agoAtlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson has been placed on the 10-day disabled list due to inflammation in his left wrist. There is no structural damage, but the wrist was not healing as quick as the team was hoping for. Swanson had a surprising start to the season, registering two homers, 13 RBI and a .289 average through his first 28 games, but the production will be easily replaced on the waiver wire. Outfielder Preston Tucker was called up from Triple-A to replace Swanson, although it does not look like he will be starting right away due to the debut of third baseman Jose Bautista.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
