3 years agoAtlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson mashed his first career grand slam Thursday as his club beat the Phillies 7-2. The middle infielder went 1-for-4 with a walk and, of course, his grand slam. Swanson broke a 1-for-18 slump with the grand slam. He has 17 home runs which ties his career-high. In 2021 Swanson has also recorded 46 RBI in 355 at-bats. Despite the slump that Swanson snapped on Thursday, the 27-year-old has shown some power from the plate, and he has given the Braves and fantasy managers a fairly productive bat throughout the season.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller
