7 years agoArizona Coyotes goalie Darcy Kuemper will see plenty of familiar faces on the ice on Tuesday, as the team hosts the Los Angeles Kings. The Kings picked Kuemper up as a free agent last summer but traded him in February to the Coyotes. The 27-year-old netminder just recorded his first shutout in the desert, making 32 saves in a 1-0 win on Sunday against Vancouver. The Kings played Monday night with Jonathan Quick in goal, so it seems likely that Kuemper will be battling Jack Campbell. The Coyotes have done well lately, especially at home, where they have won seven of the last nine games, so Kuemper has a good chance of impressing against his former employer.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
