3 years agoSan Francisco Giants infielder/outfielder Darin Ruf (hamstring) has been activated from the 10-day injured list. The veteran was batting just .244 but made amends by posting a .882 OPS throughout 43 games this season before succumbing to a strained hamstring. However, due to his versatility, he may get ample playing time moving ahead, along with plenty of chances to improve his fantasy output in the process. Alex Dickerson was also activated along with Ruf on Monday, with Jason Vosler and LaMonte Wade Jr. heading back down to Triple-A.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
