3 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman/outfielder Darin Ruf had a nice day at the plate off the bench in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Cardinals. Ruf replaced LaMonte Wade Jr. (hand) after Wade Jr. exited with a left hand sprain and proceeded to go 1-for-1 with a two-run home run (his eighth of the season) and a walk. The veteran has done a decent job at the plate this season, slashing .259/.396/.537 with 20 RBI. However, his limited playing time also limits his fantasy value.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
