2 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton may not get a spot on the roster, according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN. The wideout was involved in trade discussions last season, and as he enters the final year of his rookie deal, he is in jeopardy of not making the team. Slayton had a horrendous spring, routinely working with the second team while dropping several wide-open passes. The 25-year-old finished his inaugural campaign by amassing 48 catches for 740 yards and eight touchdowns. However, his production has gone downhill since. If he does end up securing a role for the Giants, he'll likely have one more shot to prove his worth, which could be difficult considering the team's depth at the position.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
