Darius Slayton Goes For Just 22 Yards Versus Dallas
4 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton caught two passes for 22 yards in a win over the Cowboys in Week 17. Slayton was targeted just four times after having 25 targets in the previous three games. Slayton finished the season with a dud after having a huge 102-yard, two-touchdown game on Monday Night Football back in Week 1. Slayton eclipsed 50 yards just five times since that game and would score just more touchdown. Slayton is a deep threat so he catches fewer balls-per-target than a typical receiver, but catching just 48 of 92 targets (52.1 percent) is less than ideal. Slayton isn't a priority in fantasy heading into the offseason.
