Darius Slayton Tests Positive For COVID-19
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton (illness) tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday. He will most likely be placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list and miss Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears. The 24-year-old has caught 24 passes for 310 yards and one touchdown over 12 games in 2021. New York will have Kenny Golladay, Kadarius Toney, and John Ross as their top wideouts for Week 17. Fantasy managers probably weren't starting Slayton and should search for other receiver options. The Giants offense has been anemic with Mike Glennon/Jake Fromm under center, making Golladay and Toney deep-league options at best for Fantasy Championships week.
