Darius Slayton Will Play In Week 18
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton (shoulder) was limited in practice all week but has been cleared to play in Week 18 against the Washington Football Team after coming off the Reserve/COVID-19 list this week. Meanwhile, wide receiver Collin Johnson (hamstring) is questionable, and John Ross (knee) has been ruled out. Rookie Kadarius Toney (shoulder) is also out, so Slayton should serve as the No. 2 pass-catcher behind Kenny Golladay. However, with quarterback Jake Fromm set to make just his second career NFL start, no Giants receiver should be trusted in fantasy lineups. Besides, Slayton is averaging only 2.0 receptions and 25.8 receiving yards while scoring once in 12 games this year.
