Darrel Williams Expected To Play Sunday
3 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Darrel Williams (toe), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's wild-card game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, is expected to play, barring any setbacks, according to head coach Andy Reid. Williams was limited in practice all week, so he should be good to go, and with Clyde Edwards-Helaire (shoulder) being ruled out, Williams should operate as Kansas City's featured back against Pittsburgh. Williams suffered a minor toe injury in the Week 18 regular season finale and didn't see a full workload, but the previous week he had 14 carries for 88 yards and two touchdowns as the lead back. Against a Steelers defense that allowed the most rushing yards per game in 2021, Williams will be a very attractive DFS play on Sunday night.
