3 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (shoulder) missed another practice on Thursday with a collarbone injury and that should open the door for Darrel Williams to draw the start in Week 17 versus the Cincinnati Bengals. Williams has done a respectable job when he has been the main man out of the backfield this season, but will face a tough task versus a Bengals defense that has allowed just 73 yards per game on the ground with 10 touchdowns this season. The good news for Williams is that the Bengals have struggled against running backs in the passing game and are allowing just under seven receptions for 47 yards per game. Running back Derrick Gore saw 12 carries to lead the Chiefs in Week 16 with CEH exiting early, but most of that was due to a blowout in the box score. Although Gore remains in the picture, managers should expect Williams to be the lead back on Sunday. In the championship week in many leagues, Williams should be geared up as a RB2 in all formats.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
