Darrell Henderson Jr. Has A Good Chance To Play In Super Bowl
3 years agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said "there is a good chance" that running back Darrell Henderson Jr. (knee), defensive lineman Sebastian Joseph-Day (pectoral) and cornerback Robert Rochell (chest) will be ready for Super Bowl LVI against the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday. Henderson suffered an MCL sprain in Week 16 against the Minnesota Vikings and hasn't played since. The 24-year-old was LA's primary running back for most of the year with Cam Akers recovering from a torn Achilles suffered last summer. But Akers has since returned and has operated as the Rams lead back in their last two playoff games, with Sony Michel backing him up. Even if Henderson is officially activated from Injured Reserve and is active on Sunday, there's a good chance he'll be third on the depth chart behind both Akers and Michel.
