Darrell Henderson Jr. Should See Large Workload In Week 2
3 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson Jr. should continue to see a significant workload against the Colts in Week 2. While Sony Michel remains present on the depth chart, he logged just one carry last week. Henderson, meanwhile, rushed 16 times and was on the field for 94 percent of offensive snaps. Head coach Sean McVay noted that Michel could garner some carries if the offense is clicking and moving down the field, but the clear lead-back role belongs to Henderson. "Darrell's a guy that's done a really nice job," explained McVay. "I was really pleased with how he got stronger as the [Week 1] game went on." This week, Henderson represents a high-end FLEX player who has upside given his workload and a potentially positive game script.
