6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Darren Sproles (hamstring) and wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (shoulder) have been ruled out for Week 2 against the Buccaneers. Jeffery was never expected to play this weekend and might be questionable for Week 3. In his absence, Nelson Agholor is a fine WR3 play against a leaky Tampa secondary. Sproles is more of a surprise after being listed on the injury report this week. His absence means good news for lead back Jay Ajayi. He should see significantly more snaps than he did in the season opener and is a solid RB2 choice. Expect Corey Clement to also see more snaps to help spell Ajayi when he needs a break.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
