Darren Waller A TE1 In Juicy Matchup
5 years agoOakland Raiders tight end Darren Waller impressed in the team's regular season debut on Monday and is in a terrific spot to keep it going in Week 2. He lived up to his preseason hype by hauling in seven receptions on a team-high eight targets versus the Broncos on Monday, and he'll certainly prove to cause a mismatch once again versus the Chiefs secondary. The Raiders will likely be in catch-up mode during this game, forcing Derek Carr to throw the ball much more than his 26 attempts in Week 1. Waller has already displayed trust with his quarterback, and it will only improve moving forward making him a legitimate threat in this offense. The 26-year-old is a solid TE1 play this week as he will see a barrage of targets against a vulnerable Chiefs Defense.
