5 years agoOakland Raiders tight end Darren Waller was forced to miss Saturday’s practice after suffering a shoulder injury Friday. The team is calling it an AC joint sprain, but it’s not considered serious, and he should be cleared to return before the team begins preseason games. We can breathe a sigh of relief with this news as it seems like the best-case scenario. Waller has been drawing praises from the coaching staff throughout the offseason and training camp, but losing some reps in practice could deter him from a more significant role to start the season. He carries tremendous sleeper potential as a fill-in for Jared Cook and should be monitored throughout the preseason.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
