Darren Waller Makes Big Impact In Raiders Overtime Win
3 years agoLas Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller came up big for the Silver and Black in Monday's dramatic 33-27 overtime win over the Baltimore Ravens, tallying 10 receptions for 105 yards on 19 targets with one touchdown. The Ravens defense did a good job of covering Waller early in the game, but the 29-year-old could not be contained for long. His most memorable play on the evening came with 3:44 left in regulation when he connected with Derek Carr for a 10-yard touchdown to tie the game up 24-24. Waller remains the Raiders best weapon when the ball is in the air and a must-have for fantasy rosters. If Carr can improve on his Week 1 performance and connect even more with Waller, the Raiders are going to be a harder team to defend this season.
