3 years agoLas Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller (back, knee) returned to a limited practice on Wednesday. It's a big step in the right direction for the star, and the team has said that Thursday will be a big day for him. If Waller responds well to Wednesday's work, then they can begin to ramp up his participation in hopes of getting him back onto the field on Sunday night in a must-win game against the Los Angeles Chargers. You can expect Waller to play in this one, even if he is not 100%. However, fantasy managers should keep a close eye on practice reports, because it's possible that the Raiders would choose to just use Waller in certain packages rather than give him his full workload if he is not fully healthy. Since he is off the DFS main slate, he is really only an option in season-long leagues and might be a little too risky for those with a championship still on the line.--Eric Samulski - RotoBaller
