7 years agoCarolina Panthers right tackle Daryl Williams (knee) will undergo an MRI exam on Monday to assess his injury. Head coach Ron Rivera said that Williams' injury in Week 1 against the Cowboys is different than the MCL tear and patella dislocation that he suffered in training camp, according to a league source. Williams had to be carted off the field, though, so this doesn't look like something he can come back from in time for Week 2. With left tackle Matt Kalil also out, Carolina's already thin offensive line could be in dire straights heading into next weekend, which would be bad news for the running game and quarterback Cam Newton.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
