4 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Daulton Jefferies (shoulder) will open the year on the injured list at Triple-A Las Vegas, according to Melissa Lockard of The Athletic. Jefferies had a great Spring Training this year, posting a 1.50 ERA with 24 strikeouts in 18 innings of work. He is dealing with right biceps tendinitis according to Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle, and Lockard adds that Jefferies is expected to return in a few weeks. Managers can ignore Jefferies for now, but he should make an impact in fantasy at some point this year.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
