Daulton Varsho Gets A Rest Day
3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder/catcher Daulton Varsho isn't in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. This appears to be a routine day off for the 25-year-old who has played a ton recently. In fact, Varsho has started in 19 of the first 22 games of the season. Although, his bat has been slow with a .211/.293/.394 slash line and four home runs with two steals. Jordan Luplow will bat second and cover center field versus righty Miles Mikolas on Saturday. A favorable spot in the batting order for Luplow, but Mikolas is a tough matchup for him.
