3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks catcher Daulton Varsho went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run, three RBI and a run scored in an 8-3 loss to the Cubs on Friday. Varsho carried the team on offense in the lost, as he continued what has been a hot streak at the plate, where he is slashing .381/.480/.905 with three home runs, two steals, seven RBI and six runs scored over his last seven games. This is the kind of potential that Varsho has shown in the minors and that managers have been waiting for him to show in the majors. For now, managers in deeper leagues should look to add him, and managers in shallower formats will want to hold on for a little bit longer to make sure this level of performance lasts.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
