Daulton Varsho Plates Three, Steals Base Monday
2 years agoArizona Diamondbacks catcher/outfielder Daulton Varsho had a nice offensive day in Monday's 8-3 win over the Giants. The 26-year-old went 3-for-4 with three singles, three RBI, a strikeout, and a stolen base. Fantasy managers were excited about Varsho coming into the season given his speed and overall potential offensive production in a weak position. However, he has slashed just .242/.301/.416 with 11 home runs, 38 RBI, and five stolen bases over 297 plate appearances. His upside is still considerable in all leagues, but fantasy managers may want to bench him in one-catcher leagues if they have the opportunity to until he can heat up.
