6 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams was inactive for Thursday’s preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Adams does not have any injury concerns, Green Bay simply rested most of their starters in the game. Adams has gotten minimal work this preseason, but has looked very good when he has played. He is the only option in Green Bay able to consistently create separation. Adams was the only receiver in Green Bay to be able to consistently produce last year in the absence of quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Now with Rodgers back and as the clear top receiving option in Green Bay, Adams seems poised to have a big season. He should produce like a top flight receiver in 2018 and needs to be taken earlier in the draft.--Tyger McGuiggan
