Davante Adams Could Get The Franchise Tag
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams could receive a franchise tag after the 2021-22 campaign concludes. The veteran and the organization stopped contract talks in July, so the tag, which is slated to be around $20 million, could allow some room for both sides to work out a long-term agreement. Adams is undoubtedly looking to be the highest-paid wideout in the league, a designation currently held by DeAndre Hopkins, who earns just over $27 million per year. With the Packers also looking to keep Aaron Rodgers under center moving forward, it will certainly be a busy offseason in Green Bay. Both men have been two of the most potent fantasy options over the years, and together, their ceilings should continue to remain higher than most.
