3 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers and manager Dave Roberts said on Friday that he's "really close" to signing a contract extension with the team. Roberts has led the club to three World Series appearances and won a World Series ring in 2020 and will now be with the team beyond the 2022 season. The 49-year-old's .622 regular season win percentage is the highest among those who managed after 1940. Roberts is expected the Dodgers to make additions for starting pitching depth and for the position-player group now that free agency has reopened.
