7 years agoDespite his early season struggles, Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts stated on Wednesday that he does not plan on moving Kenley Jansen out of the closer role anytime soon. Jansen has been abysmal to start the season, earning just two saves while carrying an 8.10 ERA. However, Jansen has proven to be one of the best closers in baseball and Roberts plans on letting him figure out the kinks in his natural role. For now, Jansen owners can breathe a sigh of relief. However, if his struggles continue, perhaps Roberts makes a change somewhere down the road.--Dan Fappiano
