3 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback David Blough completed 12-of-17 passes for 143 yards with one touchdown in the team's preseason loss to the Steelers. Blough came on to replace Tim Boyle in the second half and guided the team to 20 fourth quarter points. Blough was accurate, if unspectacular, and has the inside track ahead of Boyle for QB2 duties behind starter Jared Goff. The expectation is that both Blough and Boyle will compete for the backup job one last time next week.--Joey C - RotoBaller
