David Bote Hits Fourth Home Run
3 years agoChicago Cubs infielder David Bote went 1-for-3 with a walk and two-run home run in Wednesday's victory versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. Bote hit a two-run blast off of Wil Crowe in the top of the second inning. Bote will be getting more playing time with Nico Hoerner (hamstring) landing on the 10-day injured list earlier in the day, but doesn't offer much value to managers. Bote is now hitting .191 with four home runs and 22 RBI and can be left on the waiver wire for now.
