7 years agoThe Chicago Cubs have promoted infielder David Bote to replace Ben Zobrist (back) who was placed on the 10-day disabled list. Bote has hit .234 with three home runs over his first 49 at-bats in Triple-A Iowa. Bote will play third base tonight, but will doesn’t hold much value as he will mostly be a bench bat.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
