3 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder David Dahl was one of the few hitters that showed up at the plate for Sunday's game versus the Oakland Athletics. Dahl went 3-for-4 during the 4-1 loss to the A's. Dahl recorded three of the Rangers' five hits during that contest. It was a rough day at the plate for Texas, but at least they have the All-Star break to recover. Dahl started at slow at the plate, but has been heating up over the last few weeks. It's assumed the Rangers will continue starting him because they don't have any better options. Possibly, Dahl could be a deep league or AL-only option, assuming he continues swinging it well in the second half.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
