David Dahl Confirms He'll Be Ready For Spring Training

4 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder David Dahl (shoulder) had his 2020 campaign prematurely ended due to surgery on his injured right shoulder. Dahl tweeted Wednesday that he came out of surgery unscathed and that he plans to return to the diamond in time for the opening of Spring Training next February. Not much went right this past year for Dahl, who slashed just .183/.222/.247 with the benefit of playing his home games at hitter-friendly Coors Field. There’s likely still a spot for him in the Rockies’ everyday outfield moving forward, and playing at Coors should be enough to merit him late-round season-long fantasy draft consideration for aggressive managers eyeing a bounce-back campaign.--Jesse Borek
