David Dahl Departs Early Due To Knee Ailment
4 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder David Dahl (knee) was lifted from Monday's Cactus League contest against Colorado after fouling a pitch off of his right knee. After the game, manager Chris Woodward indicated that Dahl was fine moving forward and that he would have stuck with the outfielder if the ailment had happened during the regular season. Dahl is looking to reinvigorate his career with the Rangers, having posted a .321/.394/.464 slash line through his first 11 spring outings. In competition with Khris Davis and Willie Calhoun for everyday at-bats, Dahl's track record of having been an All-Star with an .877 OPS as recently as 2019 bodes well for his fantasy prospects. Fantasy managers can continue to snag Dahl in season-long Drafts where applicable.
