7 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder David Dahl (foot) has been placed on the 10-day disabled list on Friday. He suffered the injury on Monday but thought he was just battling a bruised shin. Further testing revealed the break, and Dahl will be sidelined the next six to eight weeks. He was really only an option in deeper leagues this season, but Dahl was hitting fairly decent. He can be dropped in shallow leagues, because there really is no need to use a DL slot on Dahl. The outfielder has plenty of upside but remains plagued by injuries in his career.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
