4 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder David Dahl continues to work his way back to the big league squad while at the club’s alternate training site. Dahl took seven at-bats in both simulated work and against right-hander Chi Chi Gonzalez on Wednesday, attempting to ramp himself up against Major League-level pitching. The expectation is that Dahl, who has been sidelined with a sore lower back, could return to Colorado soon. His offensive exploits this season have been vastly below expectations, having produced a 22 OPS+ in his first 19 games. Owners will want to wait for him to heat up before rostering him in the vast majority of formats.--Jesse Borek
