3 years agoLos Angeles Angels infielder David Fletcher (hip) left the game early on Monday night against the Miami Marlins with left hip tightness. Fletcher had also missed time at the end of spring training with the same injury, so this could be something to watch. For now, fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day. If the 27-year-old is forced to miss time moving forward, Tyler Wade and Jack Mayfield would be the candidates to share time at shortstop for the Angels. Fletcher has gotten off to a slow start at the plate in 2022, going just 1-for-13 with a triple, RBI and a strikeout in the first five games. He makes a decent amount of contact and has multi-position eligibility, but he's a pretty low-ceiling fantasy asset in deeper leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
