David Fletcher Ends Hitless Streak Saturday
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels second baseman David Fletcher finally broke out of his slump on Saturday against the Seattle Mariners. He went 2-for-4 with a double, his first extra-base hit since September 1. It ended his 10 game hitless streak, in which he went 0-for-34. He's now slashing .260/.296/.318 with two home runs and 15 stolen bases. Fletcher lost most of his value during his cold streak, as his batting average and speed don't make up for the lack of power. Fantasy managers are probably better off starting someone else at second for the final day of the season.
